Notice to the Market – 2018 Investment Budget

CENTRAIS ELÉTRICAS DE SANTA CATARINA (CELESC) (B3: CLSC3, CLSC4; OTC: CEDWY), listed in Level 2 of Corporate Governance, in compliance with CVM Instruction 358/2002 and article 157 of Act 6,404/76, hereby informs shareholders and the market in general that the Board of Directors, in a meeting held on December 13, 2017, approved the Investment Budget (CAPEX) for the fiscal year of 2018.

CAPEX Celesc Distribuição S/A

Investments in the electricity distribution system: of the R$ 349.08 million to be invested in the energy distribution network, R$ 301.43 million will be used by the technical area to enable works to expand and improve the system, R$ 38.37 million will be invested by the commercial area, mainly in the installation and modernization of measuring equipment and the other R$ 9.28 million to purchase vehicles to service the company’s operation. It should be noted that part of the investments made by the company have a share and/or counterpart of the consumer according to regulatory rules.
Investments in General Facilities and Information Technology: will be R$ 40.29 million in acquisition of hardware and software for corporate network, R$ 4.32 million in Miscellaneous Equipment and R$ 1.48 million in Buildings and Furniture.

Will be R$ 40.29 million in acquisition of hardware and software for corporate network, R$ 4.32 million in Miscellaneous Equipment and R$ 1.48 million in Buildings and Furniture.

CAPEX Controladora

In addition to the amounts budgeted for the wholly-owned subsidiaries as listed above, another R$ 8.0 million is expected to be invested by the Holding Company in new businesses.

Thus, the Company’s consolidated investment budget for 2018 totals R$ 462.96 million.
